You want to go beyond the first rung on the professional ladder and become a PADI OWSI! You must wait six months from certifying as Open Water Diver and starting the IDC but you will spend that time building up your dives to the required 100 and increasing your experience by accompanying our instructors. During the Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor segments of the IDC you learn how to use the PADI system of scuba diving training to its full extent. The core subjects developed through Knowledge Development prescriptive teaching presentations, Confined Water presentations, Open Water presentations, Dive Theory exams, General Standards & Procedures exams and consultation practice – plus a solid grounding on varied and crucial aspects of our industry such as Business and Marketing – will turn you into a capable facilitator of a proven, world-renowned system of diver education.
